An exciting and pivotal moment will come for the Train From Spain on Monday 1st February when it will be delivered to Old Hall Farm at Bouth, Cumbria from Mataró near Barcelona for the continuation of its restoration. Old Hall will not be open to the general public that day; press should contact email@example.com.
Before work commences, however, there will be a PUBLIC OPEN DAY where supporters of the Train From Spain Appeal and project are invited to Bouth (LA12 8JA) to view and photograph the loco in its 'as delivered' and pre-restoration condition. This will be Saturday 6th February, 10am-2pm.
This is a unique and unrepeatable opportunity to see the outstanding quality of the machine, learn a little bit more about its history and plans for its overhaul.
Those wishing to attend are asked to contact Karl at firstname.lastname@example.org. A donation to the appeal of £5.00 is kindly suggested to help us reach our renovation target of £126,000.
